    Product Features

With its blue dial, reminiscent of turquoise and inspired by Scandinavian landscapes, the Arctic hygrometer brings a clean and contemporary touch to your interior décor. Somewhere between turquoise blue and the colours of the Scandinavian sea, its luminous shade makes it a genuine decorative object, designed to look equally at home in a living room, bedroom, study or holiday cottage.

Both practical and attractive, this wall-mounted hygrometer allows you to monitor the humidity level in your home at a glance. In a house, a relative humidity level between 40% and 60% is generally considered comfortable. In a wine cellar, the ideal ambient humidity is usually around 70%.

Its mechanical movement responds naturally to changes in ambient humidity, providing a simple, reliable and maintenance-free reading. With no batteries, no power supply and no wiring required, it operates independently throughout the year.

  • Materials & Manufacturing

A decorative hygrometer designed for your home

Once reserved for workshops, wine cellars and purely technical environments, the hygrometer has now found its place within home décor. With its clean dial, natural wooden frame and delicate hand, the Ocean Clock hygrometer becomes a genuine decorative object, designed to blend seamlessly into your interior.

A simple instrument for understanding the air you breathe

A hygrometer measures the relative humidity of the surrounding air — an often invisible indicator that nevertheless plays an important role in everyday comfort. Air that is too dry can cause discomfort, while excessive humidity may encourage condensation and mould growth.

Thanks to its simple and intuitive display, this indoor hygrometer allows you to monitor the humidity level in your home with ease, whether in a bedroom, living room, office or wine cellar.

A no-battery hygrometer inspired by traditional instruments

True to the Ocean Clock philosophy, this mechanical hygrometer operates without batteries or rechargeable power sources. Its movement naturally responds to changes in air humidity, moving the hand across the dial accordingly. A simple, durable and low-tech approach that brings renewed meaning to everyday objects.

With no screen, no charging and no connectivity required, it provides an instant reading of ambient humidity while preserving the charm of traditional measuring instruments.

Wood at the heart of the Ocean Clock design

The beech wood frame brings warmth and authenticity to the piece. Hand-assembled in our workshop, it contrasts beautifully with the soft tones of the dial to create a decorative object that feels both contemporary and timeless.

Designed for those who appreciate the ocean, natural materials and understated interiors, this wooden hygrometer fits naturally into a coastal home, a holiday retreat or a modern living space.

    Handcrafted in Hossegor

Like all Ocean Clock creations, each hygrometer is hand-assembled in our workshop in Hossegor, in the Landes region of south-west France. Carefully checked and calibrated before dispatch, it reflects our commitment to creating durable, useful and thoughtfully crafted objects.

More than a simple measuring instrument, this decorative hygrometer invites you to better understand your environment while adding a natural and elegant touch to your home.
