Materials & Manufacturing
Like all Ocean Clock creations, the Blanc & Marine barometer is entirely handmade in France, with special attention paid to detail and the quality of materials.
An elegant and reliable weather tool
This barometer operates without batteries, using a mechanical mechanism that reacts to changes in atmospheric pressure. It displays the weather outlook, fair, unstable, rainy, or stormy using a central black hand and a lightning-shaped reference needle.
Note: This model is designed for use below 400 meters of altitude, as higher elevations may affect accuracy.
A bright dial accented with navy trim
The white dial brings lightness and clarity to the piece, while the navy blue trim adds a subtle contrast inspired by the nautical world. This color combination gives the barometer a modern yet classic look, ideal for coastal, minimalist, or nature-inspired interiors.
The navy detail discreetly highlights the edge of the dial without overwhelming the design, making this model a highly versatile choice.
Premium materials and artisanal craftsmanship
The frame is made from beech wood, known for its strength, smooth finish, and warm golden hue. This natural wood contrasts beautifully with the navy trim, enhancing the product’s artisanal and authentic feel.
A mineral glass cover protects the dial while showcasing its refined details. Thanks to the integrated hanging system, wall installation is quick and simple with just one screw.
