Materials & Manufacturing
Designed to last, the Marine barometer is made in line with Ocean Clock’s values: functional design, refined finishing, and artisanal French craftsmanship.
A reliable and self-sufficient weather tool
The Marine barometer runs without batteries.
Its mechanical movement, sensitive to pressure changes, allows you to track weather developments (fair, unstable, rain, storm) via a central white hand, clearly visible against the dark background along with a lightning-shaped reference needle. This barometer is designed for use below 400 meters of altitude. Beyond this point, atmospheric pressure readings may be less reliable.
A bold navy blue dial
The deep navy dial gives this barometer its personality. This iconic color calls to mind the ocean, travel, and nautical tradition, all while remaining elegantly minimal.
The fine white hand creates strong contrast for easy reading and highlights the dial’s clean composition. This model is especially well suited to contemporary, classic, or marine-inspired interiors.
Natural materials, lasting design
The natural beech wood frame surrounds the dial with finesse. Its warm, golden tone creates a balanced contrast with the navy blue, bringing both warmth and structure to the design.
A mineral glass cover protects the dial while enhancing its details. On the back, an integrated hanging system allows for quick and easy wall installation with a single screw.
French artisanal craftsmanship
Each barometer is hand-assembled in our workshop in Hossegor, in the heart of Les Landes. From the careful selection of materials to precise assembly and attention to detail, every piece is crafted
to be unique and built to last.A wall barometer with a sleek nautical style
With its navy blue dial and minimalist lines, the Marine model is a modern classic in wall decor. It fits just as beautifully in a seaside home as it does in a city interior seeking authenticity.
Now on sale, this French-made barometer blends design, functionality, and character for a life guided by the elements
