How to set your Ocean Clock ?

Useful tips to set up your tide clock :
We recommend you to set the clock at the high tide and preferably on the day of a strong tidal coefficient. For a more accurate setting, pick a full moon date. Note that the tide times vary by location. Not suitable for navigation.

Settings :
1/ Check information about the local tides coefficients & schedules on a local tide table.
2/ Pick a day of strong tidal coefficient (from 85).
3/ Set the single hour hand using the wheel at the back of the movement to indicate high tide on the dial, insert then an alkaline AA battery

How to read a tide clock ?

A tide clock is designed to give you a quick indication of how many hours remain until high or low tide.
The right side of the dial is marked “hours until low water” and has a count-down of hours from 1 to 5,
The left side is marked « hours until high water » and has a count-down of hours from 5 to 1.
The tide clock hand rotates once every 12 hours and 25 minutes

This example reads 3 hours to low tide or 3 hours past high tide.
