You just need to place the hand as shown below, and then insert the battery  🔋

⚠️We suggest you use a standard battery, not a high-capacity one (aka “power life”, “longlife” etc…) as it might damage the clock rotation.

DO I REGULARLY NEEDto set my clock?

There is no need to touch your clock before 2 years and 7 months! It’s very precise 🧿 How come?
The lunar month represents a cycle of 29 days, 12 hours, 44 minutes and 2.8 seconds to be very precise.

The mechanism of a lunar clock rotates in 29,5 days, ⚙️ thanks to its 59 teeth. As minutes are not taken into account, there will thus be a one-day interval after 2 years, 7 months and 20 days of operation.

You will then be able to reset it with our online setting tool!

POSITIONof the second hand

The position of the second hand (oval centrepiece) will not impact your setting.

👉 Only the position of the main hand is important when you start up your lunar clock!
