You are able to personalise the hand of your clock when you place the order. Enter the name of your favourite place, a beach or even the name of your house, while respecting the 19-character limit (including spaces).
Please note that this is a purely aesthetic and personal element. This element will have nothing to do with the workings of the clock.
You not sure which model of clock to choose ? You can order online a sample kit of our different clock faces. This will allow you to visualise the different colours on your walls, and help you choose your model of clock.
Please note that this €5 kit will be deducted from your purchase when you place an order for a clock on our online site, using the reimbursement code included in the kit.

Is it possible to get it gift wrapped?
We offer beautiful clock-adapted gift bags.
The bag will be delivered to you flat in the parcel.
The "gift wrap" option will be available at the end of the order process, and will cost €2.
We ship our products to all countries except for paddle whose large size does not allow it!

When the parcel arrives on your national territory, a local carrier will assume the delivery. You will be informed by email. For example, the carrier FEDEX in the USA is in charge of the delivery.
If the addressee is absent, your package will be held for 14 days at the carrier's local branch.

Colissimo Home delivery :
Deliverys are made within 48-72 hours from Monday to Saturday morning, except public holidays. Your order will be sent to the delivery address indicated on the order form. In case of absence upon delivery, a delivery notice will be left to your friend to collect your parcel from the nearest post office. Parcels are kept at the post office for 15 calendar days. Proof of identiy is required for your friend to collect your parcel. If the parcel is not picked up within the time specified by the carrier, the product will be returned to us.
Colissimo Pick-up point:
Delivery to a pick-up point from Monday to Saturday morning, except public holidays. You can choose the closest pick-up point to the french address. You will be alerted by email when your parcel is ready for collection from the pick-up point. Proof of identiy is required for your friend to collect your parcel. Parcels are kept at pick-up points for 10 calendar days.
If your country does not appear in the following lists or in the list of countries available when ordering, please contact us and we will check the shipping costs for your destination.

Please contact our customer services by email or telephone so that we can send an investigation request to La Poste (Post Office). We will do everything we can to ensure that your order is delivered successfully.
Please contact us by email or telephone the same day before midday so that we can send your clock by Chronopost. This option is not available online. It is Ocean Clock's responsibility to validate the conditions of this service.

Indeed, using local atmospheric data is an essential step of the initial setting. More precisely, it is important to set the barometer with the pressure data given at the very moment of the setting (to the hour). Some sites only provide a daily average. It is not enough. The website https://barometricpressure.app/ provides a detailed report.
It is also important to meet the placement’s optimal conditions!
- A spot far from large temperature variations (radiators…)
- Also, it must be hung to a wall, vertically. This way it makes the barometer’s hand more accurate. Indeed, it will react better to the variations transmitted by the box.

Some days, tide times on traditional tide clocks differ from the ones of the calendar. These differences are temporary. They can be up to one hour during 3 or 4 days in the month, they will be gone with the following tides.
(Remember that we advise you against using it for seafaring)
To understand those intervals, here are a few simple explanations:
Tide clocks rotate in 12h25 and not in 12h00 like a traditional time clock.
Indeed, 12h25 is the average time between 2 high tides or 2 low tides in semidiurnal regions. (That is to say that there are two high tides and 2 low tides per day of essentially equivalent importance. That is the case with the Atlantic and the Channel.)
It is an average. That means that according to tidal coefficients (and other factors such as the moon effect, or coastal ridge…) slight variations can be seen. Therefore, some days you can find these variations in the form of intervals on the clock.
This is why you should not continually adjust your clock, as you will disrupt the proper functioning of the clock. The clock is a tide indicator, and so unfortunately it cannot be as precise as a tide calendar which shows the water status to the minute, (calendar made thanks to the data provided by State oceanographic services.)
However, we can check the state of the mechanism if you have the impression that these differences are permanent! In that case, here is how to proceed:
Note the clock hand position (the best way is to take a picture of it) at noon for instance. The following day, at 50 minutes past noon (that is to say 2x12h25 later), check if the hand came back to the same position.
Of course, if your results are different, then it proves that the mechanism is defective. Do not hesitate to inform us, we will change it for you.
